The North West of England is a region stretching from Cheshire in the south through Lancashire and Cumbria in the north. To the East are the ten Authorities of Greater Manchester and the Unitary Authority of Blackburn whilst to the west are five authorities making up Merseyside and the Unitary Authority of Blackpool.
